New York Fashion Week Looks 2 & 3

By September 13, 2017 No Comments

So NYFW is over for another season & being my first time attending I can officially say I’m HOOKED. I think it was one of the best & most fun experiences I’ve ever had. Each day was jam packed with shows, events & (most importantly) drooling over everyone’s immaculate outfits. NYFW has given me serious style inspiration for future outfit planning!

One of the highlights for me was the LikeToKnow.it party. I’ve recently joined the platform where you can shop my style here on blog & my Instagram through the LIKEtoKNOW.it app. My gorgeous gal pal Louise & I went together & we had so much fun with the 360 cam. We felt like we were on E News at the Oscars!

As I already shared my NYFW Look 1 here, I wanted to give you a quick look at the some of the other looks I styled up.

Look 2

I think we can all agree the main event here is this gorgeous floral ruffle dress from Primark. I spotted it in their press office & literally could not get it out of my head. I originally had planned to create a more edgy look with black boots & a studded belt & jacket but Day 2 happened to be particularly humid, so I opted for a softer look with khaki Valentino inspired sandals also from Primark & a woven belt keeping the look more airy breezy. I love to play with my hair so I created some romantic braids to compliment the feminine Boohoo look.

Look 3

I’ve always wanted a pair of dungarees & now I’ve finally found THE perfect pair. This entire look is again, from Primark (are you noticing a pattern here? Someone did a gigantic haul) they are a perfect fit & amazing around the bum! I paired this look again with the ruffled white shirt I wore in Look 1 which is such a staple piece for anybody’s wardrobe, a chic grey beret & the khaki sandals from Look 2. I felt a pop of color was necessary, so I added this cute red bag that also has a strap to be worn over the shoulder for convenience. All the accessories are from Primark except my sunglasses which are Gucci.

Look 4

Finally for rooftop drinks with the girls I threw on this super comfortable & chic playsuit from Boohoo. My feet were feeling the strain at this stage so it was flats for the win with these cute rose gold brogues I picked up in a boutique in Gorey, Wexford. My Bag is Chanel.

I already looking forward to the NYFW SS18 in February, but by all accounts it’s going to be a chilly one so my outfits are going to be completely different & I can’t wait!
